Just a quick post from me today. I had a few finishes since I posted last week.
I first of all got to the HALF WAY POINT (yes, I'll announce that in red!) of Village of Hawk Run Hollow! I never thought I'd get there! (I'm generally pretty bad at enormous projects like this one, but I think taking it one block at a time does help psychologically... ;-) )

Block #6
I also started and finished The Rain Fell by Little House Needleworks. I needed a break from all that 40-Count stitching, and this was perfect. I had contemplated either stitching this over-1 or on 40-Count... but my eyes needed a break! So this is stitched on the recommended R&R 30-Count Americana Blend Linen.

Yay you! Congratulations on getting to the halfway point of Village - you have a lot more stamina than I...;)
Both finishes look great - the LHN one is very sweet :)
I like the LHN pieces for that reason as well - cute designs and not a lot of back stitching. Easier on the eyes!
Congratulations on both getting to the halfway point of Village and The Rain Fell finish. Both pieces look beautiful! I love the effect of the over dyed floss on her dress :) Gives a unique shaded appearance.
Wow! Well done on both! :) The LHN piece looks lovely (and is very appropriate right now - just need the blue skies bit!) and VoHRH is amazing :)
Wow! Good for you!! This is looking GREAT! And I just love your latest finish - what a beautiful design, and your Smyrna crosses do make those little details stand out better. :)
They both look great. The LHN one is very appropriate for the West of Scotland lol.
Lovely work - Village looks amazing and Rain is a really pretty piece too!
Village is looking absolutely amazing! Congratulations on getting halfway there!
I love the rain fell, I am still waiting my copy to arrive in Australia (not long now) - great finish!
Hurray!!! VOHRH looks fabulous!!! And love your LHN, so cute :)
Congratulations you have done well and HRH is looking good. Love the new LHN finish too.
Congratulations on both, they're both gorgeous!! I like how you've personalized the guest house, and the blacksmith's block looks like fun.
Houses looks great! And halfway there, how exciting. I definitely can commiserate about the 40 ct fabrics. I love them but you do need a nice break now and then.
Great progress on HORH!!! Cpngratulations on finishing LHN-Rain Fell...I love this design, I've ordered mine and hope it gets here soon :)
Thanks for visiting my blog. Your VOHRH looks fantastic, I finished mine at the end of last year. And I love the LHN finish you have ;)
The first time I saw both I thought... wow, I really love this. The second time around, absolutely gorgeous, your stitching is perfect. :)
Oooooh it is looking just *fabulous*!!! Congrats on the perseverance it takes to complete a large project such as this one. Keep up the beautiful work, and it will be finished before you know it! =) GREAT job.

Both pieces look beautiful! Congrats on reaching the half way point on HORH!
Congrats on reaching the half way point - I am v. tempted by all the HRH designs but have contented myself with admiring others and yours look super :)
The LHN is a cutie too, you're speedy!
Hi tina, found your blog and would really like for you to email me. I have some questions for you.

Congrats on making the half way point on this massive project!!!
Your "And the Rain Fell" project is lovely! I really like this piece. LIke your idea of using smyrna crosses where you did. Great thought!
You've been busy. Congratulations on reaching the halfway point on Houses, that's quite an accomplishment. This is such a large piece, getting to the half way point must feel great. Love you finish of Rain also. The LHN patterns are such fun to do, and it looks great. I like the changes you made to do some with a symrna cross, it does make them stand out more.
