Village of Hawk Run Hollow Happy Dance!

Just Block 1 - I'm not that fast. ;-) 11 more to go...

I finished this up yesterday. I'd really love to start Block 2 today, but I'm going to be good and stitch on Petal Fairy a little bit more if I get the chance instead.

Cathy & Karen & everyone that's going to use the Vikki Clayton conversions on VoHRH -- I'm dying to seeing your progess! So hurry up and start it soon! ;-)

Oooh that looks lovely! I'm going to have to get this eventually. Each WIP draws me further in! LOL!

Just a thought for Petal. I used every scrap of the kreinik for her wings, so be careful with it! I know some people had to buy a second spool and I thought I was going to have to at one point too :)

Concetta, its going well.. all the other bloggers that are doing this piece also, you'all could of had a SAL. Are you using VC Silks for this or DMC?

Your first block looks lovely Tina! I got my fabric and chart last week and I've started block 2 (I wanted to start in the middle!) I'm enjoying using the VC silks, but it's going very slowly because it's quite a densely stitched block. I'll try and share a pic soon.

BTW, I also got my threads for Meetinghouse Quaker and I've chosen my fabric (LL Basketweave) so I'm ready to go. I'm starting another SAL tomorrow (Lavender Rose Sewing Case) and I'd like to get into it before starting another new piece, so can we say next week sometime? Or would you prefer to make some more progress on VoHRH? Let me know what you think (my email address is in my blog profile if you want to email me direct).

Thanks for visiting my blog. I LOVE your VOHRH. You're farther along than anyone else I've seen in blogland. It's in my stash but have no idea when I'll get to it. I also have Petal Fairy in my stash and LOVE yours. We seem to have similar taste, it will be fun to watch your projects grow.

Me again - OK for starting QM next Monday then?

The sewing case is stitching up fast and anyway, I think I'm going to need a break from all the over one. I'm planning on stitching the sewing case during the day and QM in the evenings when the light isn't so great.

Looking forward to starting QM - I'm really pleased with my fabric choice :D
