Flea Market Souvenir Happy Dance!

Yay! I finished it up this morning. Can you believe this is my first happy dance of 2008? That's really not good!

First of all, this is the last panel I stitched...

And this is it complete, with my wonky sewing skills (there's a reason you never see any "finishing" on this blog!) Luckily for me, I guess it's supposed to LOOK a bit wonky, that's the beauty of this design... ;-)

It's always great fun to do a SAL with KarenV. :-)

Wow, it looks great! I've always really loved this design, but was never too sure about stitching it on different pieces of linen - yours looks stunning and you've inspired me - I'm off to order a copy of the chart now!

Such a beautiful Blackbird finish. I have never seen that type of SAL before, where you stitch the pieces together, but I really like it.

Congrats on your first finish. While it may be the first one, there certainly was quite a bit of stitching involved on it. I like how the pieces are joined together with the lazy daisy stitches and such at the seams, very creative.
