Scotland Photos!

No stitching updates this time! The past few weeks sure have been bad for stitching I'm afraid. ;-) So I thought I'd share some photos of Scotland for a change... I know I don't do that very often on this blog.

My birthday was at the end of last week, and I had such a nice time this year! :-) My dear friend Cilie was over from Norway to visit and we managed to fit lots in.

First of all though, I was overwhelmed when I opened a birthday package from KarenV late last week...

Thank you, Karen! I'll treasure these beautiful gifts!

Cilie went just a little bit crazy with the gifts this year and brought me over what seems like most of the shop in Drammen... !

Thank you again, Ceels. :-)

Loch Lomond was a wee bit on the wet and windy side...

But Edinburgh was amazing when we were there at the weekend. Even the sun was out!

As I didn't get too many photos on this trip, these are from another trip to Edinburgh that we went on a few years ago and belong to Cilie and Eleni (can't remember which is which - as I have them all in the one folder!)

Bummer that I'm back at work now!

Happy belated birthday! :)

Lovely presents and a gorgeous little stitched piece from Karen. And how lovely Edinburgh looks. Not sure I can say the same for Loch Lomond in those photos! Less rain, more sunshine! :D

You got some lovely gifts. Belated birthday wishes from here. Rain in the West of Scotland, surely not lol. I can't remember the last prolonged dry spell. Edinburgh looks gorgeous.

I love the pictures of Edinburgh, but those pictures of Loch Lamond are just so evocative. I feel like going there! Love the exchange you received, too!

Hi, I found your blog from someone else's blog. (And to be honest I can't remember whose it was. Very bad of me.) I've enjoyed reading your blog for awhile now but had to comment on your pictures. They are so beautiful. My mother's family is Scots and we actually visited when I was little. I can't wait to make a visit as an adult and see all the things you have photographed. Thanks so for sharing!
