Happy New Year! (& lots of old WIPs)

I think the title of this post shows it's been a while since I was last on here. ;-) And as the next couple of weeks are going to be a bit busy too, I thought I should try to get at least one post in for January!

I put together a list of my WIPs over the Christmas holidays, and I have to say I was a bit horrified at the amount I have -- I honestly had no idea! So here I'm going to share everything I have started. Some of these you'll have seen before, others not (meaning I probably haven't worked on them since I started this blog 2 years ago. Yikes!)

The first one is a recent start (the ONLY recent start)... sorry it's a bit washed out...

Notes: This was started when it was a monthly class soooo long ago! :-( I did really well, until I got to the flowers surrounding the bit above... !

Notes: I started this *years* ago... I've done a bit more, but this was the last photo I took.

I bet you thought that was everything! Ha! I also have the following as WIPs (but don't have any progress photos):

Peacock Cypher by Just Nan
Little Bands of Silk by Indigo Rose
Nova by Genny Morrow

I'm going to put links to all these in my sidebar, in the hope that it may encourage me to work on some of these more often. I do fully intend to finish them all one day.

You're welcome to make me feel very ashamed of myself!

  2. It was discovering that I had just as many WIPs that made me start doing a rota system. I still have loads but not they do all get worked on for a short while on a regular basis and that means I get lots of finishes too.

There are some lovely ones there so I hope I will see more of them in the coming year.

  11. BLIMEY! What a lot of great WIPs. You shouldn't feel ashamed of having so many, I frequently have 10 or more on the go at any one time.

  13. What a fun post, I loved seeing all the different WIP's you have going. They are all gorgeous, it would be hard to decide which to pick up and work on. I love Alpine, and have thought about getting this one for awhile. However, all the detail kind of intimidates me, as I tend to do (and finish) smaller projects much better.
