Happy Halloween!

Well yeah, OK, I know it's not for another couple of days, but I have a Halloween finish, and just in case I don't get the chance to post again before the end of the month... :-)

I've been working on Happy Haunting (by Shepherd's Bush) over the past couple of weeks, and finished it yesterday.

Photo (a bit washed out) with all the buttons sewn on:

And these are scans of the top and bottom before the buttons were put on... I think the scans are a bit nicer than the photo, hence why I'm adding them.

What a fun stitch that was! I always panic when I'm sorting the threads in the kit for a Shepherd's Bush design... I'm always convinced that there's no way it's going to be enough thread, but it always is... !

And to make this post a wee bit longer ;-) This was my Halloween finish from last year. Still one of my favourites!

Now I think I'm in the mood to stitch something Christmas-y or maybe winter themed? Hmmm.... I'm becoming quite the seasonal stitcher aren't I! ;-P

  15. What a great finish - congratulations!!

You should definitely join our seasonal SAL :) No obligations - it's just a bit of fun.

And as for Autumn in My Garden over one - do it on whatever fabric you enjoy stitching on most. I love stitching over one so I'm really enjoying it, but if 40ct is more your thing you should use that. I really think it would look great! :)
